I was very impressed by my entire experience here. Everyone was very professional and pleasant. The customer waiting area was very nice, albeit small and I really liked the fact that I was taken into the mechanic's service area and shown something on my car that needed to be addressed while on the vehicle itself. Nice job and thank you.

Thank you for your email about my new Equinox. I came back to Gandrud for several reasons. Scott is one reason, he is very easy to work with and not pushy like some salesmen are. Also, I received the price for my Impala that I expected. Overall, my experience was very good.

I was very pleased that the service dept. called me right away about a $10.50 credit. And I was also pleased that on Dec. 7 during my oil change/inspection, that the sway bar problem was identified. While I waited on Dec. 9, I enjoyed chatting with Dave in Sales, about used autos, and was impressed by his honesty. All these things contribute to me being a "returning customer" to Gandrud. I do not find my navigation system on my 2009 Altima to be user-friendly. Fortunately, the service staff at my dealership is extra patient. They answer all my questions, solve my problems, and explain everything without ever making me feel foolish. Mrs. Azieu I really appreciate the courteous pick-up & drop off service when maintenance services are required.

Besides an oil change, the purpose of my visit to Gandrud was new tires. When I took thecar in at 7:15 am, they immediately started working on it. I told him I would wait for the car.After an hr, the service man gave me an update. By 9:20 am I was driving out of the garage. Best of all was the fact that the amount I paid was less than the quote. What a nice surprise...I definitely will recommend Gandrud. Thank you.  Barbara Moore, Green Bay, WI

Before I received the car back from having it's the oil changed, I was briefed in the waiting area about everything that was done during the oil change. I thought this was a very nice touch.

I was experiencing some phantom electrical issues with my 2008 Saturn Vue, I had bought from you, which resulted in periodically leaving me stranded due to a dead battery.  I was devastated to think I might have this problem for the life of the car.  Your representatives made me feel I was in good hands.  Steve was determined, sympathetic and professional.  My daughter had told me; “Mom, I’m confident Gandrud will take care of you”…and they did!”  I hated the problem and the fear that I may have gotten a “lemon”, but your staff helped get it fixed and got me through it feeling that somebody cared and would take care of things.  Gratefully,  Georgia Kohlwey, Valders, WI

Last year, we received a calendar from you with GM engines on it.  It was an awesome calendar and we hung it in the shop.  When we needed to price out a crate engine from GM, we decided to give your business a call.  This led us to the excellent experience of working with Lance, in your service and parts are, on two separate occasions. We would never have called you business, if you had not sent us this calendar.  We purchased an engine from Lance and he ensured that it was delivered expeditiously and placed on the doorstep to our business.  When they dropped off the new engine, they removed the old one for us.  After we received the new engine, we found that we had left two sensors in the old engine and contacted Lance regarding their return.  He was more than willing to retrieve them for us and deliver them back to our shop.  By the time we contacted lance regarding this, however, GM had already picked up the old engine so we were unable to retrieve these sensors.  Even though we had made the error in leaving them in the engine, Lance was willing to go above and beyond our expectations to return them to us, if possible.  We have also recently purchased a transmission from Lance.  Once again, his complete professionalism and willingness to quickly meet our needs is amazing.
  It is seldom today that one receives exemplary customer service.  Lance’s commitment to outstanding customer service is notable and deserves recognition.  He is exceptional to work with and has provided my business with superior customer service.  We appreciate his efforts and wanted to make certain that you were aware of the outstanding quality service Lance is providing to your customers.

This was the best experience I've had at Gandrud. I've been a little disappointed in the past with the lack of genuine customer service. This most recent visit that changed and everything that was checked was gone over with me and in a very understanding way, so those of us not too familiar with all things cars could understand. As a person that works retail, I'm all too familiar with good/bad customer service and I wish I could remember the gentleman's name that took the time to go over the complete service that was provided for me that day so you could tell him good job and to keep it up.

Dear Verchelle,
I love the Nissan brand because of it's reliability. I am glad that I discovered this many years ago. When I graduated from medical school many years ago, I had a relatively low paying job for three years (I was still in training). I had no money and needed a vehicle. I went to the Auto Dealer section of the Yellow pages and started at the top of the list. to see if there were any dealers who could help me. I was laughed at by several people, given congratulations by many and told "come back when you are making more money and you want a good car". Then I got to the local Nissan dealership in Iowa City, Iowa. I was told to bring the letter showing I had a job and to come in. I did these things and drove off the lot in a brand new Sentra which I wasn't asked to pay anything on for 3 months. As I drove off the lot, I stopped and asked the sales person why they were doing this for me. He told me that he know I would discover how good the Nissan brand is and that he suspected I would be back for more of them in the future. This is exactly what happened. I have owned Nissans since 1989 and can't imagine ever owning a different brand of vehicle. They never break. They are so reliable which is important for me. The resale value is phenomenal. They are so comfortable and classy. Since my Sentra, I have purchased or leased a Stanza, 3 Maxima's and 4 Pathfinders from 4 different dealerships. I have loved all the vehicles. Without a doubt, Gandrud is the best dealership that I have ever dealt with. You are honest, up front, and give the best deals. In addition, you are friendly, courteous, and easy to deal with.  All the sales people I have dealt with over the years at Gandrud have been very good. The one I most recently dealt with (Andrew B.) should serve as an icon for the rest of the staff. I couldn't believe how good he was. How in the world does anyone know what all the buttons are for in all the cars! He was friendly, pleasant and able to answer all my questions for me. When I asked him a question he couldn't answer, he told me he didn't know but then said he would get the answer for me (which he did very quickly). I find it admirable when people tell me that they don't know something but then spend the time to find the correct answer. I wish everyone would behave in this way. The whole experience was absolutely amazing.
Thank you for being such a good dealership and carrying the great Nissan brand. Be thankful you have such phenomenal people like Andrew working for you. I will never do business with any other car facility. You guys are GREAT!!!
